Asha Oommen

Asha Oommen is a P4 student at the Texas Tech Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy (Dallas). She was born in Houston, Texas but spent a number of years living in both India and Southern California, the latter of which is where she completed her prerequisites at the University of California, Los Angeles. She currently works as a Pharmacy Intern at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas which has allowed her to gain valuable insight about the operations of a clinical pharmacy. 

Asha became a Student Board Member with WTPA as she was inspired by the legacy of WTPA’s board members, their dedication to the profession, and their genuine support for students. WTPA has made her feel welcomed and supported from the very beginning, and she hopes to encourage other students to become active members to experience this sense of community for themselves!
