Mackenzie Reinert

My name is Mackenzie Reinert. I am a fourth-year pharmacy student at TTUHSC Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy, where I have been actively involved in leadership and professional organizations throughout my pharmacy journey. I was born and raised in Texas and completed my undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences with a minor in Business and certificate in Equine Science. During this time, I developed a passion for patient care, community outreach, and leadership that ultimately led me to pursue a career in pharmacy.

I have worked in multiple pharmacy settings throughout my training, including community pharmacy roles with H-E-B Pharmacy in Mansfield and Rockport, Texas. These experiences have strengthened my passion for serving patients through accessible, patient-centered care while also allowing me to grow in areas such as immunizations, patient counseling, health screenings, and community education.

I am especially passionate about serving underserved populations and giving back to communities through both local outreach and international medical mission work. Pharmacy has provided me the opportunity to combine my passion for healthcare, leadership, and advocacy, and I look forward to continuing to make a positive impact throughout my career.
